7A Griffins

There will be a 7A Griffins Clean-up field trip from Matapang to Ypao Beach. Students will leave the campus around 9:00am and will be picked up around noontime. The students will then go to the Micronesia Mall Food Court for lunch. The team will return around 3:00pm.

On December 12, students were given Trash-a-thon pledge cards. Students are expected to turn in the cards prior to the field trip day. Awards will be given to the three students who will collect the most amount of money.

Because our now former secretary, Brittany B., transferred to another school, the team had to select a new person for the job. The team council, along with other 7A members present on Wednesday’s meeting, selected to move Dasha A., formerly sgt.-at-arms, to the secretary position. The meeting also unanimously selected Christine Cruz to fill in the sgt.-at-arms.

The 7A Griffins made approximately $328 from the Halloween grams.

Several members of the Griffins team have contributed to the success of the profit, such as the people who brought in the materials, took orders, helped assemble the grams, and delivered them. The following are the members who helped in one way or another:

There will be a Parent Teacher Conference on Wednesday, October 28, 2008. The hours will be from 8am-1pm.

Parents can pick up their child’s 1st quarter report cards at this time and visit their respective teachers.

The 7A Griffins had a team building activity on September 30, 2008. It encouraged and emphasized teamwork and the importance of being drug-free.
